Birthday of my Mustang Cobra

A year ago today, I was going to the SVT car dealer to pick-up my car at -25oC with summer tires at 21h00 at night (what a drive). Not to forget that it was the first time I was driving a manual transmission. It was a long 40 miles drive at these conditions. I had chosen that day because it had been 5 days in a row without snow so the road would be dry and clean from salt. Also I preferred to drive her at night since there would be less traffic and not knowing how I would drive that shifter...

Here a picture when I arrived home. I parked her in her winter shelter.

These picture were taken the day after when I went to get the alarm installed.

I installed lights in the shelter and it gave pretty interesting results.

Another cold day in the Laurentides, Canada

Yes, it's another cold day in this long winter. It is longer since I'm waiting for spring to come to drive out my Mustang Cobra. I went to see her in her humble shelter. She seems to be sleeping tight, not bothered by the cold.

Here is a picture of my winter car (1994 Intrepid) all frozen and my Cobra is in the shelter behind all protected:

But after a day of warmer weather, the Cobra still alive under the cover:

As you can see, she still nice and clean (boy, I can't wait for the spring to come)

My First Blog: Mustang Cobra Mystichrome 2004

This is my first Blog posting and I'm testing the potential of a Blog post.

I'm from Canada and my passion is for cars and more specificaly Ford Mustangs.

I bought a brand new Mustang Cobra 2004 last year and I want to present it to you.

Here is my MystiCobra:

For the last year of production of this model (The Terminator 2003-04) before introduction of the new Ford Mustang 2005, Ford have made, through there SVT (Special Vehicle Team) branch, only 1010 units of this color package. In 1996, Ford had made a similar color shifting run when the model was again changed.

The mysticobra paint color used the color shifting technology. It changes color, depending on the angle of light and can go from blue to purple to green.

The above 2 pictures were taken a few minutes apart, when the sun was seting and at a slightly different angle.
